2 more sleeps!

A hurried pic of the dining area wall, mainly because Grant put pics up, only taken 2 months.
We had a day on the road, out before 8, brekkie on the farm and on to Grants dad who was up in his chair and bright as a button. the carers had made a fantastic effort decorating for Christmas with wreaths wound round the beams and coloured lights through them, there was Santa and his penguin. And lots of little touches that made it feel very festive. The kids loved it and grants dad said 'welcome to my grotto' when we got there. always emotional for grant and his dad saying goodbye, it's hard to know when we will visit again and what might happen in the mean time, he would love to see his grand kids more but it's not easy! Anyway, glad we saw him this Christmas time.
One more day of manic tidying, sorting, cleaning before our distinguished guests arrive. :)
