Solstice
I know I'm a few hours early but I like to burn all the old papers at the turnings of the year. Day long downpour forecast for tomorrow, and this evening could have been an April night. Glorious flames, many dancing figures. It feels so very good to let things go when you are well and truly ready. Timing is all, for me at least. Stacks of photographs were the last to yield to the flames, reluctant to give up their ghosts. Are images more indelible than stories? I wonder.
This is my first attempt to post a blip since the changes. Many of them caused an aversive gut reaction in me which has taken a few days to unravel. I'll maybe write about that in the coming days and hope to get more articulate about the impact of some of them over on the 'Zendesk' - Blipcentral have clearly not lost their sense of humour with that title.
My patience with the roll-out and affection for the site are restored and I'll attempt to wrestle with working around the aspects that are uncongenial to me. The absence of the 'Oops' message is a huge improvement for which I am very grateful
Edit: There's workaround to make the Blip background grey here.
And very many thanks to Veronica for explaining how to edit a post.
