Kingfisher

It was a nice day, so we decided to go for a walk to the Gallery of Modern Art and then on down the Water of Leith to Stockbridge. As we crossed the bridge to get to the gallery we spotted a bright blue flash. It was a kingfisher that then sat on a branch nearby. I had enough time to change the lens to the 70 - 300, and grab this shot before it flew slightly further away. It's quite heavily cropped but I thought worthwhile as I've not seen a Kingfisher in town before.
