Door way.

This used to be a doorway from the old cattle yard into the garden . Some years ago it gave up the ghost so we never replaced it. I was out with Lula and Pip and just thought it made an unusal view of the garden on a sunny but wintery afternoon .

Busy day cooking for Christmas today . Mr Tbay off shooting, a long day with not a lots of birds. Very up and down hill so one very tired Mr Tbay!

Farming -  Boys  out today hauling compost as the Christmas shedule kicks in. it will be all very irregular for a few days until the new year .

The day was finished off with the Contracting Christmas Party at our pub across the road. We sat 40 down to eat this year. Some family , some workers , some people who have helped us in other ways during the year. It's always nice to say thank you. All home now and ready for bed. There could be a few hangovers tomorrow !!!
