Artificial tree

This Christmas tree is an art work, a statement about recycling and says something about the values of Salt Spring Islanders. This is where a very few of those plastic water bottles end up. Sadly way too many of them end up floating in the ocean.

It has been a very wet day and our visit to the Christmas Market was soggy and a bit disappointing. We made up with it by having warm soup at one of the cafes in town. Back home by the fire now.
