Real de Catorce

Yeeeeehaaaw, Cowboy!

Today I got to explore the mountainous desert and silver-mines surrounding the "ghost-town" Real de 14 - by horse! I cannot put into words how cool of an adventure that was :-)

I was equally impressed by the stories of Mexicans we met that told us about how they became illegal immigrants in the USA at some point(s) in their lives and how they crossed the border walking through the desert for nights and days. Wow.

Real de 14 appears, among others, in the the two movies "La Mexicana" and "Las Bandidas"-check 'em out :-)
