I loved this book. It has two nature walks for every month. It is still very readable.

My copy was published in 1944. A First edition. It says "This book is produced in complete conformity with the war economy standard.

In the past year we have taken lots of books to the Oxfam Bookshop. But this one is staying at home.
Enid Blyton became unfashionable in the 1980 on grounds of political correctness. But I am pleased to see that my granddaughter has read the
Famous Fiveseries.
