Litter Picking, Alness Point. Photo taken at mid-d

I was so hoping that it was going to be a lovely day, at least not a wet, wet, wet day.
Reasons:-
I had agreed to do a Litter Pick at Alness Point,
I hate picking up other people's rubbish
I am not a fan of getting soaked
It is the Winter Soltice

But, do you know, the dogs and I had a great time.
Yes we did get VERY wet
Yes we did pick up some very unsavoury bits of rubbish
But the company, the jokes and the laughs just made for a very enjoyable day.

The funniest thing was the large, white builder's bag that all the rubbish was going to be collected in, was placed by a wall in readiness for all the bagged rubbish. This builder's bag was then going into the organiser's car to be taken to the tip. That was until all 7 male dogs who were part of the litter picking team, decided to use it instead of a tree! It is now being picked up by the council!

All the dogs had a brilliant time. Poppy and Bud are exhausted and lying, as usual, in front of the first snoring. No takeaway for me today, I did try but the queue at the Storehouse was too long.
