Winter Solstice

Blip Central have asked us to enter a photo of the sun during some part of the day, to mark the solstice.

In these parts, there is a thick covering of dull cloud so no chance of seeing the sun, moon or stars.

I present to you a golden sun, part of a set of cuff links.

If I knew how to add a link in New Blip, I would give you the words of The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore). (Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio, first performed by Frankie Valli in 1965)

So here are the first few lines.

Loneliness
Is a cloak you wear
A deep shade of blue
Is always there

The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
The tears are always clouding your eyes
When you're without love, baby

Goodness, Man, lighten up, it's Christmas.
