The Shortest Day

So, Blipcentral has asked us to record the shortest day for 'lovers of light'. Unfortunately, although we have indeed had light, howsoever short-lived, we have no sunshine to create those special, magical, effects that qualify a loversoflight tag - just a dreary day of many shades of grey as the different layers of cloud whipped past.

However, as these East windows, which were covered over for many years and were only recently exposed, allowing light to flood into the church, the congregation is now a true Lover Of Light, I consider the photo apposite to the theme.
