air ambulance

Having had a getting ready for Christmas odd jobbing day we popped out to Carsington Res. for some fresh air.

The air ambulance came down at the visitor centre. Last week at work we handed over another £1000 to the air ambulance charity which is totally funded by donations. A very worthwhile cause that I am very happy to support them but my heart sinks when you see them in action. When I met their crew and medics at their EMA base in the summer I was astounded at what they do on a daily basis and just amazed at what they are capable of doing medically at the scene. Top pilots, top medics, top charity.
