Dubai - Twisted

Went out to the various old Souk's in Downtown Dubai to get some Christmas shopping with The Belgian from work....well at least once we eventually found it! Got the majority of the gifts for the Mrs, hope she likes them (not many ideas this year). Went out for a bite to eat and a pint on the way back, ended up being a late night. So now on the wagon, not worth it.

The place we went for food is overlooked by my 2nd favourite building in Dubai, the Twisty Tower (sure that isn't it's name). But I am not sure what is more twisted, the building or having fake snowmen and santa hats etc in a hot country...just doesn't feel like Christmas, no matter how you dress it up.

Really looking forward to flying home on Tuesday to see the family and believe it or not, looking forward to the cauld and dreich weather...hopefully make it feel like Christmas.
