Make Me a Pallet on the Floor

Moved the rest of the wood out of the chicken house today (bad me, on a Sunday as well) and then got in touch with my inner me. As I was throwing the wood into a pile outside I was thinking “That doesn't look too bad. That could be useful. Ooh, that's a nice bit of wood”. So instead of going straight into the skip I'm going to pull out bits that I can use for …. stuff. Like an outside shelter for lambs. Or something. There are some nice bits of wood. Old but just about usable. Sigh. Typical me. All the window frames we had taken out a couple of years ago have some usable bits. They're all mahogany but most have damp rot around the edges. Bit of cutting and they'll be fine. I can see 3M tapping her foot and folding her arms now. Oooh. My name is Paul and I'm a hoarder. Hello Paul.

There is also several pallets like those in the pic lying around which I'm not throwing away. I'm sure I'll find a use for them. I'd better as I can hear a fellow blipper grinding her teeth at this very moment.

Tomorrow the condemned make their final journey.
