Pacific Northwest Light
We were just glad there was any light at all during the day, since we had darkness and pouring rain yesterday. The second day deluge never materialized so Bill and I went to see what was happening at the Refuge. There actually was a lot going on, with lots of hawks, eagles, ducks, herons, and nutria scattered across the landscape. Some of what we saw can be seen here. I did want to enter in the Lovers of Light thing Blipfoto is doing today, just to take part. I have no idea if this is acceptable or what they had in mind, but this is all the light there was in my neighborhood on this shortest day of the year (North of the Equator!) in 2014.
Take care.
