Three

Pika's birthday is the solstice - what a special day to celebrate birth, except for the fact that it is so close to that other holiday.  I designed and we executed a cute little train engine with wheels that rotate, all out of wood but for the just visible giraffe finger puppet who is the driver (did not knit that).  Stating the obvious it seems yesterday our dock baby came home from the hospital in his parent's arms!
