Texas Sunshine

as instructed - I have blipped the sun!  

I wasn't sure if we would see it today as it started out very cloudy and damp, but this afternoon the clouds vanished and although it was still cold, the sun came out for my blip :0)

This afternoon I cooked caramel popcorn and poked cloves into oranges for neighbour gifts - will my neighbours think Im mad, quite probably  :0)

We spent the evening checking out the Christmas lights in town tonight.  First stop the university which has a lovely display of moving 'things' and lights.  Then we drove through a neighbourhood in town where many people put up huge magical light displays, really beautiful.  I wish I was better and photographing them because my pictures really don't do them justice.  And then out into the countryside on the way home where there is a house with lights syncronised to music which you can tune to on your car radio.  We sat and watch that for a while with french-fries and hot chocolate from the big M - very nice.

Tomorrow, my last trip to town, to buy a present for Mr Tex who FINALLY wrote something down on my 'Mr Tex's Christmas list' that I have been poking under his nose for weeks now.
