St James Walkway, Lewis Pass, South Island NZ

On the way home today, we stopped at the Tarn at the start of the St James Walkway.  When we arrived the tarn was calm, but while changing lenses on my camera, a breeze came up and ruined the reflection on the tarn.  Instead I took this photo, which includes the native landscape.  To me, it looks like a painting, and apart from straightening the photo a tiny wee bit, it is completely unaltered.

It was amazing how cool it was when we left the car to walk to the tarn.  15 degrees C - and it certainly felt it.  We arrived home to a much warmer temperature - it's currently sunny at 24 degrees (at 7.31pm).

I'm off out to the glasshouse now.  The tomato plants need staking up, before they snap from their weight.
