Burns Statue Square, Ayr. Not the Burns statue but a memorial to The Royal Scots Fusiliers who lost their lives in The Zulu campaign in the 1800s. Robert Burns does add to the statue epitaph with some haunting but melodic words from his pen: Ye babbling winds! In silence sweep, Disturb not ye the hero's sleep.
