St Mary's Cathedral

After a late night yesterday I was having a calm day. A walk seemed like a good idea as the day was bright and sunny. The walk took me to the west end of Union Street where I tok this photograph of St Mary's Roman Catholic Cathedral. The cathedral was opened in 1860 and the spire was added in 1876.

Walk completed I confess to taking the bus to return as the weather was looking like it was going to change.

I think the map function here is still needing a bit of work as it always seems to open on a map of the world. Also it does not seem to reed the map coordinates which should already be on the EXIF data of the photograph.
