Mulling the wine

A suggestion from my OH that we use a Mary Berry recipe for Mulled Wine this year.  It was too citrussy for my liking, but once it had been bottled and then re-heated later, it seemed better.  However, we agreed that we preferred the more sugary, port-and-brandy laced one we usually use.
