the Longest Shortest Day of the Year

It was a very long day, indeed, starting with a first flight at 3:30am, and finally ending with sunset on the other side of the world... but still the same day.  No real cabin fever, though, so I'll take it!

The sun almost set as we flew far north (near the Nordic countries) but it came back as we followed the great arc down into Canada.
