Cultural Evening, Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, India

Today, after a 2-hour flight (yet another!) via Varanasi (where we did not disembark), we finally landed in Khajuraho, best known for the Kama Sutra temples, and met our driver -- the very same one we had two years ago!  We had specifically asked our travel agency in Delft to forward to their travel agency contacts in Delhi our request for him to drive us again and we are overjoyed that they have granted it.

The evening's cultural show was his idea -- and it is things like this that we appreciate.  He knows us by now well enough to know what we like to see.  The show lasted an hour and was a good one.  It showcased dances from different parts of the country.  And the colour!

Tomorrow, we will visit the temple complex where all the erotic sculptures were made.

In the meantime, we're still catching up with our sleep.
