Is it really nearly Christmas?

Another mild day, it hardly feels like winter and is it really nearly Christmas? None of us feel as if it is....yet it is only three more sleeps until the big day.

I put on my battle gear lipstick and headed out for the supermarket this morning, preparing for the worst....no parking, long queues at the tills and short supplies of certain stocks (every year it is the lack of the particular type of custard that gets me). Actually, it was not bad. I brought Luke with for backup to help carry the bags and we managed to whizz around the aisles and get everything...except for that same type of custard (Waitrose Madagascan Vanilla custard) - the fridge shelf was bare...but then I asked a member of staff and he said a new supply had just come in and he went to get me some from the back...result!

Then a quick walk around the woods with Murdoch. The weather was the same as yesterday, dull light but with interesting skies. I spent the afternoon at the hairdresser getting some highlights for Christmas - it must have worked as the boys actually noticed it looked a little different!

Last night we did our annual Christmas holiday tradition...we watched an old Bond film, Moonraker. They never fail to disappoint, despite the special effects being so dated, but scenes from Venice, Rio and the Amazon made up for that. Then we got into a discussion about who is the favourite Bond girl. Who is your favourite Bond girl?
