Camden Palace, Chislehurst, Kent

aka Chislehurst Golf Clubhouse and has been since 1894.   Originally the home of William Camden (although this isn't the original dwelling), this version was designed by Nathaniel William Strode in the 1860's and later Empress Eugenie rented the property from Strode at the cost of £300 per year when she fled Paris.  More information can be found  here
