The Thurgoland Christmas Carollers called to wish

... us Merry Christmas and sang Oh Little Town of Bethlehem at Ann's request.  They sang beautifully and we've discovered the acoustic at the back of our house is really special.  There were a few more brave souls this year.

In the afternoon we braved the supermarket and the weather was foul as we came out and packed the car.  Penistone can be a particularly dire place for weather as the wind and rain bring the full force of the Pennine hills with them.
