Snout of Claespole Magnus

Encountered and photographed late this afternoon while I was on Care duty at the house of an absent nonagenarian. It was developing into a tedious afternoon for me until I was lucky enough to be in the right place and  of course alert and imaginative enough to recognise the opportunity.
Hence the photograph of the Claesepole's proboscis.
You will be aware that this is a protected fabled creature  and should not be identified therefore please consider it as part of an old clothes pole.
