I treated myself to this a week or so ago. Ian Curtis fascinates me: a brooding, mysterious lyricist and a frontman of magnificent intensity. The book is full of facsimiles of his lyric notebooks, small pages, intensely scrawled, crossed out and scrawled again. Also, there are the covers of books from his library: J G Ballard, Oscar Wilde, Surrealism, Photomontages of the Nazi Period - fascinating again.
