The fireplace

This is a picture of Mr Tbay Jnr's sitting room looking all festive. it is  a barn conversion and has a galleried sitting room which is rather good. 

Today was the Christmas shop! Urgh! However Mr Tbay stepped up this yera and volunteered to come with me. Hoorah! This meant it was quicker and I did not have to carry lots of shopping either, result!

The build up has begun, and we are busy modifying our house to accomodate the various guests.

 Mother in law, aged 90,  has to sleep down stairs, so we convert our office to a bedroom for her. This takes a while to do.  I shall be full upstairs too, as I have Miss Tbay and fiance, Mrs Taby Jnr's sisiter and partner and freinds of ours as well. A lots of bed changing will enuse during this period, as we say goodbye to one lot, and hello to another set!!  My washing machine will not be having a break at Chistmas!!

I am limbering up to wrestle with my 22lb turkey. Once again it will be me versus the large roasting pan, oven and the turkey! I of course always win after a bit of a tussle, which includes a pair of very sharp shears,  a lot of string, a few very naughty words, and the odd skewer. Can't wait!!

Farming -  Two on compost hauling . Not a lot else at the moment.
