Rats.....

Had a bit of a clear out at work today. Which was useful in many ways, especially as, well, we've had this small problem for a while....or rather not so small (got some of those too).

Not really surprising given the amount of grain stored in the neighbouring barn, and the general 'farmyard' habitat. But when they get in, and die, the smell is bad. Forever.

This was the fourth carcass I removed out of seven. The others were far more desiccated. This was, fresh. Almost still warm. He looked so cute, like he was sleeping. He wasn't sleeping.

In other news, we've had a break-in. Bolt-croppers through the padlock into our sand store. Yup, they lucked out there!
