My Family and other Animals!

Well we are finally here, having been up for 18-24 hours and travelled via taxi, two planes and car to Beck and Rob's in New Haven! The journey, despite its length, was reasonably straightforward apart from a harrowing 90 minutes in US immigration in Dublin Airport when Jen and Pete were whisked off into a secure place and the clock was ticking towards boarding. We had no idea what the problem was as we weren't allowed to see them and the airline folks, although helpful, couldn't give us any info either. Thankfully, just as Tony and I were on the point of deciding whether to join the boarding queue or not, they appeared and it was all over Pete's missing suitcase which hadn't appeared on the camera and hadn't been sent through from Manchester.

So we are here for a lovely family Christmas, but will they be sensibly blipped?! Hopefully when we are all less tired I might get them to be more presentable!
