Ribbons

About a year ago, myself and the out of hours team, saw a very sick dog - Jay. He had a ruptured bladder, and by the time we saw him, was in shock and couldn't stand.  
A few bags of fluids, glucose, heart protectants and a couple of hours later he was stable enough for surgery.

He recovered amazingly well, though his owners were worried he wouldn't compete again. Today they brought me his winning ribbon - NZ champion no less - to show just how far he had come in the last year.

Well done Jay - lovely to hear you are back to your best.
