Not your average Catholic Feast Day celebration.

And so onto another fun filled afternoon shooting the pilgrims on their way to and inside the main court of the Basilica De La Virgen De La Guadalupe on her saint's day. 
Some people have travelled hundreds of kilometres on their knees to make this pilgrimage. From the pained expression on the tracksuited guys face, I could easily imagine him being one.
Others come with their tribes or gangs to dance, sing and cavort. A truly catholic collection of Mexican Catholics behaving in a most uncatholic fashion!
Next year I might even make it inside the Church proper!

Way to many to make choosing one for here an easy task. I settled on this woman above, because of her expression, the tight focus on her face and the abundance of colour surrounding her.
