Pine cones in the tree

Been busy gardening most of the day, nipped out along the river with my camera at 8pm - it’s been a beautiful day which had extended into the evening - the sun was going down but the soft warm yellow light was lovely.

I spotted this huge clump of pine cone high up in the tree above, I just thought they made a interesting composition and looked great in the light. A celebration of the beauty of nature - and an icon of Christmas!
