On the Tree Top

This morning we went to Waitrose to get some things for the Christmas Eve dinner we are planning.  I chose to go to Waitrose as I had seen an owl decoration a couple weeks ago that I thought would make a great tree topper for my little tree as I wanted something different then the traditional angel or star.  Waitrose was packed I only got half the stuff I wanted as I was feeling rotten with this horrible cold and I couldn't find the owl anywhere.  My husband asked a shop assistant and then went hunting for it in a basket full of all the leftover decorations.  Luckily he found the only one left and it is now sitting beautifully on top of my tree.
