Sanderling

The weather continues to be dull and windy, but it didn't stop me popping down to the beach at Big Vern's, just as the low tide was turning. It was very windy, a Force 6 I think, and I managed to walk through a few big puddles whilst looking for photo opportunities!  There quite a few of these cute little Sanderlings rushing back and forth on the tide line. There was also a couple gulls on the look out for mischief, but as I'm not a fan I've relegated them to my Flickr page! ;-)
