Festive Faffery

Lots to do today. Errands to run, appointments, chores, and getting ready to fly out on Saturday for our real Christmas with kids and grand-kids. Even if I had more time to wander with the camera, the light is lousy so I figured it was time for an emergency blip and a bit of in-camera manipulation. 

This is a detail from the Poinsettia that was a present from the community's management team.Though the apartment is decorated with Christmas color, it's hard for an old New Englander to feel like it's Christmas when the temperatures outside are in the 70s. Next week I won't have that problem since we're meeting Anne, Jon, and the kidlets at a resort in Wisconsin.
 
I hope everyone's holidays are peaceful and merry and filled with all good things .... and the adventure (and the countdown to those hugs from our grand-kids) continues.
