Advent Day 23...

Every year we like to set up this little 'shrine' to Christmas that is made up of decorations collected or given at various times in the past. It helps us remember friends and relatives and places we had visited. Look carefully and you can see some of the decorations we bought in New York on a Christmas trip to that wonderful city back in 2001 when the memories of September 11th of that year were still raw. It was a bitter sweet trip, part of New York all lit up for Christmas but the shadow of the lost towers still fell across the city.
