The Whaler's Kirk
The Whaler's Church at Grytviken is perhaps most famous as the church where Shackleton's funeral was held in 1922. It is still occassionally used and over the Christmas period many of the cruise ships we get in will hold services in it. Under today's blazing sunshine it wasn't looking particularly festive, but I'm still crossing my fingers for a white Christmas.
