Nastutiums

Nasturtiums are banned in some areas as they attract The Great White Butterfly which is classified as a pest insect because of the damage it could inflict on agricultural crops. The GWB is much bigger than the common white butterfly and the caterpillars and cocoons look quite different.  Fortunately, the GWB has never been seen here and I can continue growing nasturtiums as companion plants for the roses.
