What a horrible day its been again, wet wet wet.  Its rained non stop for 48 hours.  Floods are everywhere.  I've never driven through so many flooded roads as I did today and I had to admit defeat in the end and turn back when I saw a car stuck in the floods.  Today's blip was taken at Rickerby Park in Carlisle and I'm sure by now the river will have burst its bank.  Sasha cat is now in the cattery and the road outside was badly flooded.  So pleased I am off down south to Essex in the morning as the weather forecast is sun sun sun :)  I am planning to leave very early, famous last words of course!


A date has been set for my mother's funeral, its not for another 3 weeks yet so a bit of a wait..
