The US of A!

I have been talking about my holiday in mist of my blips, but I don't think that I have mentioned that I am actually going to America for just under three weeks!!! :D

Last year Nick's Dad married a lovely American lady and this trip is to see her side of life!

So we'll be in Washington and New York (only for a few days but still!)

I think I need an actual holiday! I need to just have time off to take more photos - and there will be plenty!

So I'm very very excited!

It was very VERY cold today so spent all day inside wearing lots and lots of layers so we don't have a HUGE power bill - the one we got today was more than we have ever paid here and we haven't even been using any heating!

I don't want to think what the middle of winter will be like - even though I miss out on three weeks of it! ;)

I have also decided to give a gradual tour of the flat! The little bits and bobs that give it character... Like the wallpaper... and the hole in the toilet wall...

Also means I don't have to freak out during the day, while i'm at work, about finding something to photograph!
