The Gingerbread House

A quiet day today after the exertions of the last week - a  bit of washing, some tidying, a long walk with dogs who missed out yesterday as I worked so late!

I have been waiting for a chance to photograph this house in our village - it is on the side of the hill and each year it is festooned with these lights and from a distance all you can see is the outline of the house picked out in the dark. The camera has revealed more of the building than you see with the naked eye.

We have always called it 'The Gingerbread House'
