Crumbly building

A busy preparations day today, made complicated by a power outage just as I had started cooking for guests tonight.
The Teen and I had already planned a walk to photograph the cathedral at dusk which got us away from attempting to function in a cold house by candle-light! Distracted by the gates being open to The Bishops' Palace, we photographed what she called "The Crumbly Building" instead.
Dinner was transported and completed elsewhere and a lovely evening was had by all - our niece and nephew great company and competitive board game players! Home to a powered house and a feeling that Christmas has begun.
