Stormy day

Today was billed as being the storm of the century (ie...the century so far).

J drove back from Napa in the morning, and we were hot foot down to the beach for high tide. It was disappointingly not the conflagration we were hoping for - although there were some waves.

The pair of us (or our back views) made it into the Santa Cruz paper, billed as "onlookers" viewing the storm. J has already made it onto Streetview, as well as filming a tv interview about whales for a local station. He's torn between milking his media stardom and laying low to avoid being accused of never working...
