Mid-Summer Snow Flake

 

Another Christmas tree decoration with memories. 
 Every so often my sister V would whisk me away for a few days leaving Gofer in charge of the children. On this occasion we did a short cruise up the Rhine. It was June though you wouldn’t have thought it considering the unseasonably cold weather we had especially when 3 inches of hail fell on midsummer’s day. We stopped at one of the small riverside towns and there was a shop dedicated to all things Christmassy. I couldn’t resist getting a couple of these delicate snowflake decorations which seemed  so appropriate.
