Festive season

 I am discovering that midwinter has a few advantages . holidays and great photographic light.  Taking pictures takes you to places of great beauty, make you look at the beauty, study it see the things others do not see. I think that includes the sounds and smells. Photography heightens my senses and is transcendental. The smell of seaweed , the sound of seals and the deep and vivid colours, textures of the beach and the distant highlands.
