Divergent Detroit

So. Detroit. Today's visit was really impressive: imagine a city built for 1,000,000+ people, now half abandoned. With a lively center of a few blocks, surrounded by old, empty buildings, the border of the center marked by a above ground train that keeps running circles (much like in the Divergent trilogy!). But yet, this city moves. It felt like a blank page, where artists settle and everything is possible. The best witness of that is the Heidelberg project, a snapshot of which you see in this photo.
