three under the moon

the super moon was pretty spectacular over ben buckler, bondi. i've seen some incredible pics which local photographers have taken where it looks enormous - and it was!

i need a wee lesson on night time photography (i still have my xmas present from M to redeem :) How do you get the detail of the moon? the craters and shadows? i'd like to think i need some filters...and it's the tools which are the challenge, but i imagine it's human error!
