Licenced to Dive

My new watch is waterproof to a depth of 300 metres.

That's approximately 299.9 metres deeper than I ever want to go in water.

According to the man in the Omega dealers, the waterproof bit is handy should I ever:
a) accidentally get in the bath with it (in 40 years, I've never, ever done that)
b) get caught in a heavy downpour
c) fall into a canal

I imagine that should I ever be unlucky enough to fall/get pushed into a canal, the waterproofness of my watch won't be that foremost in my thoughts.

And yes, I should have taken its photo at a time where none of the hands obscured the writing.
