Full Day Out

Today we headed to Taronga Park Zoo. It occupies a spectacular setting overlooking Sydney harbour... probably the best located zoo in the world! It's difficult to pick a highlight as we enjoyed the whole day, but for me it was the koalas. We watched them being fed and they really as very cute and cuddly.

On the way home we stopped off in the city centre to watch a fabulous light show on the cathedral, which was set to Christmas music. Then whilst walking to the train station we saw the highlight of James's day... an enormous Lego Christmas tree. It was stunning and here too there was Christmas music playing. I think we were all feeling a lot more Christmassy by the time we got back!
